The Tea Party movement is dead. The original acronym was "Taxed Enough Already", and the Koch Bros. funded it to get control of Congress and have them rewrite the tax code to try to make them trillionaires, instead of just multi-billionaires. The accomplished their main goal and are cutting bait. Otherwise, the Tea Party has simply become the Party of Trump, and has proven itself incapable of governing in any way other than helping the rich get richer. Many of the 2010 wave of the GOP are about to crash and burn in the next 2-3 elections, tops.

And that can't happen soon enough to suit me. As for Eddie Munster, is he still planning to retire as Speaker at the end of the year or whenever he said he was going get out of DC?

To clarify: I'm not asking about your city/state govt people, but your options for the Feds. I'm curious to know who you feel is worth writing in a protest vote that (as has been shown to me every time since the 90's) will not have any real attention paid to it.

If nobody is paying attention to it then why is everyone so upset about me not voting for people who want to cut taxes, deregulate, weaken social security and medicare, etc. but call themselves Democrats while doing it.

Attention - The bitching you talk about here.

Real Attention - Anything that actually does something to address the protest vote.

So, can you actually say why BLANK specifically is not worth voting for and why their conservative opponent is any better on the issues? Do you even know anything about who the candidate you can actually vote for is at all? Please answer this question instead of going on another tangent, because I'm very curious to know who you can vote for but choose not to and why.
