Well, did anyone think Republicans had given up trying to kill Obamacare? You would be wrong if you did. And, of course, the GOP has no plan ready to replace the ACA, nor do they care to come up with one either, they just want Barack Obama's signature legislation dead because he was an uppity black man Republicans, especially Donald Trump hated more than life when he was president. And if people die if the ACA is demolished? Oh, well, to Republicans, it's all about decreasing that surplus population, baby!

The kind of healing that starts with you dying, apparently.

There's no somehow to it -- everyone involved in this ongoing cover-up is a Republican, including Barr.

    https://www.esquire.com/news-politic...-donald-trump/

Meanwhile, they ignore all of the other evidence of Russian interference in the Mueller report -- including the conviction of some of Trump's closest aides -- and count on Russia helping them out again in the next election.

The party is corrupt to the core and the only solution is to vote them out of power -- they've been this way since at least Nixon and they've only gotten better at lying and cheating since then.

    ------
"On December 7, 2018, President Donald Trump announced his nomination of Barr for Attorney General to succeed Jeff Sessions. Michael Isikoff and Daniel Klaidman reported that Trump had sought Barr as chief defense lawyer for Trump regarding the Mueller investigation in 2017 after Barr supported Trump's firing of Comey (May 9, 2017); questioned the appointments of some of Mueller's prosecutors due to political donations they had made to the Clinton campaign; and also alleged there were conflicts of interest of two appointees to the Special Counsel Team, Jennie Rhee and Bruce Ohr.

In 2017, Barr said that there was "nothing inherently wrong" with Donald J. Trump's calls for investigating Hillary Clinton while the two were both running for president. Barr added that an investigation into the Uranium One controversy was more warranted than looking into whether Trump conspired with Russia to influence the 2016 elections.

"Mueller should not be permitted to demand that the President submit to interrogation about alleged obstruction. Apart from whether Mueller a strong enough factual basis for doing so, Mueller’s obstruction theory is fatally misconceived. As I understand it, his theory is premised on a novel and legally insupportable reading of the law.

Moreover, in my view, if credited by the Department, it would have grave consequences far beyond the immediate confines of this case and would do lasting damage to the Presidency and to the administration of law within the Executive branch." -- William Barr

The guy being interviewed suggests that on the issue of obstruction it may be that Trump and co were trying to cover up things like the mess with Cohen and Daniels. Which is an interesting spin on it and sorta explains why Mueller may have punted on the obstruction charge. Because the obstruction may have not been concerned with Russia at all but on keeping people out of his finances. And seeing the hot water the Trump foundation got in because of investigations handed off by Mueller I can see why. Of course that doesn't help things politically because now we have even more reason to snipe at each other because the apolitical actor in all of this didn't follow through and punted.....

From my understanding Trump and co were contemplating collusion, and the Russians were willing to offer it, but the two sides never agreed to work together. So meeting like the Trump Tower meeting were just them talking about the possibilities. Unless there is a tacit agreement to really work together then they can't be charged with coordination or conspiracy.

It is possible that Trump and co were too both clueless to make a real deal, and too used to being shady to understand why even seeking out a deal with a foreign power was a bad idea. Any other presidential campaign would run away screaming from a Russian wanting to meet.

It is also possible that Russia knows this and is playing us all. Keeping us divided keeps us from being able to work with our European allies to keep Russia in check.

Republicans are the worst. I'm not going to list it because it's wasted space in typing but if your reason for winning is that you got a slight increase on your tax returns your a piece of ****. Enjoy your Anti-vax facebook pages and Ar-15 you degenerate. I'm sure that the kid your excited for is going to enjoy getting blown away in school but what do you care, you got an assault rifle. That's better than a functioning government and protecting the next generation.

But your owning the libs so please continue your enjoyment of Chick fil A and Fox and friends. Don't let me stop you, I'm just going to be over here supporting the people who are actually getting **** done.
