The guy being interviewed suggests that on the issue of obstruction it may be that Trump and co were trying to cover up things like the mess with Cohen and Daniels. Which is an interesting spin on it and sorta explains why Mueller may have punted on the obstruction charge. Because the obstruction may have not been concerned with Russia at all but on keeping people out of his finances. And seeing the hot water the Trump foundation got in because of investigations handed off by Mueller I can see why. Of course that doesn't help things politically because now we have even more reason to snipe at each other because the apolitical actor in all of this didn't follow through and punted.....

From my understanding Trump and co were contemplating collusion, and the Russians were willing to offer it, but the two sides never agreed to work together. So meeting like the Trump Tower meeting were just them talking about the possibilities.
