Plaid Shirt behind Trump is going viral

Can't get the video, but the link will take you to it.

Kimmel, Fallon, Noah, Sam Bee and Colbert among others will have a field day with this. Meanwhile, SNL’s writers are probably already working on a skit about Plaid Shirt Guy.

"Deep Wrote" Did you come up with that or did someone else? It's great.

I’d love to take credit for that nickname, but it came from New York Times author Kurt Eichenwald whom I follow on Twitter.

    Team Mueller update:

Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days incarceration by a federal judge.

His lawyer also stated that George is, "willing to corroborate testimony for and cooperate with the pending Donald Trump, Jr. indictments."

He must have something big to share.

I guess Don Jr. is next!? I thought Jared was going to be the first family member. I guess we shall see.

Nike sales surge despite storm over Colin Kaepernick's "Just Do It" ad

Weren't we told anything that gets Trump voters upset means economic doom for a company?
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    Yup.

    Fox says Nike's stock dropped.

Sales went up 31% in 4 days.

    Stock went up ~4%.

    *sigh*

Buying it to destroy it still gives them your money. The best economic protest is to not buy at all, but it seems Trumpers don't understand that.

I'm somewhat disappointed about Kaepernick associating with Nike given their history with child labor and third world sweatshops.

In the same way that a minority football player's problems aren't always going to be the problems of rich white Americans, the problems facing sweatshop labor(which, as you pointed out, is often child labor) aren't always going to be the problems of American professional athletes.

Because Trump said it and he's saying more, and more unhinged statements.
It is true that there were people at the time who slammed Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. But remember, it was the middle of a War. Those on the side of the Confederacy would be expected to criticize anything Lincoln said.

Here's a fun thought, even if the stars align and Kavanaugh isn't confirmed for the Supreme Court, the next person nominated will have the exact same views and opinions on every case and law as him. Because he was hand picked to be on the list becayse those opinions and drawing from the same list will get an identical fellow.

By "fun" I meant depressing. I'm not sure there's any way that marriage equality and women's reproductive rights aren't being overturned some time in the near future as a direct result of this.

Americans historically don't like going backwards.

The GOP may get a temporary win but the Hell they'll unleash getting there will end them.

    Permanently.
