This is what the Dems have been doing ever since Trump was elected lol.

What exactly is their 2020 platform?

    It essentially consists of:

    1. F*ck Trump!

    2. Free shit for everybody!!

The party of the educated, indeed.

Newsflash, I hated Trump BEFORE he became president. That racist shitstain had ZERO business becoming Commander-in-Chief, his incompetence, immaturity, vulgarity and total lack of anything even remotely resembling a moral center is helping drag this country down into the swamp he vowed to clean up but still hasn't. For whatever it's worth, I never seriously thought Trump would be removed before his term expired, not while the GOP had his back and was out to protect him at any cost, fine, I'll settle for the assclown being elected from office next year instead.

PSst. YOu can see their platformsi f you want to. Many of them have elaborate policy position papers and more, not that it seems to/will matter to you, since you'll just pretend its all the second option while waving tiny capitalist free market magical fairy dust bags.

Oh, I have no doubt that many goofy millennials with zero real life experience will be firmly in their camp. Problem is, not too many of those kids, ya know, actually get up off their asses and vote.

Roughly 73% of Americans completely reject socialism. Not republicans, not democrats, not independents. Americans as a whole.

Yet the left wants to make “democratic socialism” their big ticket, go-to platform for 2020.

    What a bunch of Einstein’s...lol.

i notice trump supports always talk about winning and losing, like it's some kind of contest.

That's one thiing I have in common with Trump supporters now. It's totally a game. No one can really enact any policy and if they do it will be done away with by the next guy.

I just want to get petty on Facebook at this point.

Meanwhile, republicans have done such a good job of defining basic government services as 'omg no SOCIALISM!' that you've done an excellent job in making it a viable option politically again. So thanks for that.

I mean, folks like you scream 'socialist' at guys coming in with right-wing heritage foundation health care plans, so what's the point of even trying to work within a conservative framework?

Sounds like Henry Ford's logic against unionization. Not great company.

Ha, and imagine what the conservative poll numbers would look like if they polled people on if they approved of Medicare instead of if they approve of socialism.

Conservative hucksters ain't no dummies. They no how to illicit the response they want.

Prety much. The same polls that conservatives approvingly cite about 'socialism' also tend to cite 'people want the government to do more to help people like me'. The issue tends to be 'people *like me*.

    Oh I have

Like the assbackwards “Green new deal” that the airhead AOC proposed and 75% of the Dems who have already stated they’re running in 2020 endorsed.

Ya know, the document that says you should piss in a bottle, let it ferment for a few days in the sun and then use it to make your morning coffee to cut back on water usage?

The document that before revision stated that people unwilling to work should be entitled to a living wage?

The document that is a socialist doctrine disguised as a bill to fight climate change?

They’re just full of great ideas.

    LOL

Liberals still pushing for an ideology that has failed numerous times over the last century and killed nearly 100 million people during that span.

“But it’ll be different this time! It just wasn’t implemented correctly in the past!”
