It was the whole how gods get their powers part that I thought was trolling.

Worshippers empower gods, and Storm is sitting in the village that used to worship her, so she should feel some extra power from her believers. Hopefully, this used in the next issue.

I'm also still confused on the question "Can Storm trust her powers anymore?" Where did that come from?

from my conversation with Guggenheim that wont happen. he views her as nothing more than a mutant snd thus far his stories have supported that. would be surprised if he did what he should have done which was write her as coates has.

So, I just read X-Men Gold. Guggenheim is totally trying to ignore the Storm/Adversary arc over in Black Panther. Looks like next issue, the conclusion of this Storm arc, Kitty is going to step in and save the day.

how many times did guggs have to remind us that ororo is inadequate without having stormcaster? why did guggs ignore the previous times ororo went kenya after becoming an xman? why did storm let those swarm of zombies surround without flying away?
