Lol, the nit picking is strong.
I glossed it over with icy blues.
I think people would nitpick less if Guggenheim could actually write a half-decent Storm story. Instead, he regresses the character and does everything else badly in regards to her character under the sun. The only take on Storm that is worse than Guggenheim's was that abomination of a Storm mini that Dickey wrote.
When you're this bad a writer, then every mistake in the book needs to be highlighted and nitpicked.
Even if the writing is horrible, Guggenheim didn't color the book. And the colorist is doing their job obeying the laws of physics. Blue eyes are only 'blue' due to light scattering. In shadow, they should indeed appear more grey. It's not that serious.
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
To what a few posters said earlier.
I enjoyed BloodStorm. It was great to see the aspect of Storm i wanted. I got alot of hand to hand and Brawler Storm with BloodStorm. It was cool.
Gold is Gold.
But when comes to Hammer Storm, I wish I could have the satisfaction of Calling her StormBorn
(But I'm a little disappointed with Gun Storm) But it was still cool to see and enjoy.
Im personally please that Marvel decided to take the time out to show some of her diversity. And hopefully by doing it cast a wider web. For the Solo, if that ever comes around again. (Is it about time we stop talking about it?)

Storm needs a good writer stat! Pak's run was decent and he did a great job with humanizing Storm. He showed her courage and power, but also showed us her vulnerabilities and limitations. I would have liked for him to have delved deeper into her own spirituality. I don't recall him really touching on that subject during his time writing her solo.
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!
