once again, biographics gives me another historical figure to utterly hate.
this guy is right up there with mao, stalin and hitler and very few people know about him.

It's sad. MVC3 was on sale the other day, but since it was pretty much DOA as far as I can tell, I didn't think it was worth it. I mean, I say this as someone who plays these kind of games alone...And I also play fighting games for teh story, but still...That kind of anti-hype doesn't win me over.
You know, A Hobby of mine is creating Fantasy Rosters for fighting games. Here's what I'd do for the next MvC

Why are we here?
"Superboy Prime (the yelling guy if he needs clarification)..." - Postmania
"...dropping an orca whale made of fire on your enemies is a pretty strong opening move." - Nik
"Why throw punches when you can be making everyone around you sterile mutant corpses?" - Pendaran, regarding Dr. Fate
I'll preface this by saying that I am actively following the MvCi scene and genuinely think the game is the best Marvel to both spectate and play.
I think the roster is actually fine insofar that it is super well balanced and they were working on a small budget. Even returning characters got overhauled so they feel fresh and different.
The biggest issues were the art direction, which no one liked, and the fact Capcom gave them next to no money and cut support for the game very quickly. According to employees, the budget for the whole of MvCi was less than half the budget for SFV's DLC alone. Why they did this for a game that works with the largest franchise on the planet, I don't know but given what they were working with MvCi is something of a miracle.
If you're so inclined to check out MvCi in the competitive world, which I would recommend, watch the Top 8 from Combo Breaker 2019 which was the largest Marvel Tournament of the season and really exceptional to watch.
If you're interested in playing, I would recommend checking out The Gauntlet at i_c_u_hater on Twitch. It's a weekly online tournament that usually has around 20 - 30 people in the bracket and Doncon the Hater is an excellent host. Highly worth it! It's fun to play and to watch.

Side note: the new Spectacular Spider-man is lots of fun.

Started playing World of Warships...The free to play one.
I'm wondering if blowing up six ships in one match is either a miracle or fluke.
