Never did finish that manga.

Sadly, the Enishi Arc has yet to be Animated. The last live action, The Final, did a pretty good job at adapting it but I would love to see the entire story play out.

I'm just looking forward to Kenshin beating the **** out of Enishi like he owed him money. It's hilarious that after countering and defeating nearly all of Kenshin's techniques in the first fight, Enishi has absolutely no defense against a man just punching and beating his face in with a blunted sword, which apparently works wonders.

It's funny, I'd always thought Shishio was the final boss of the story, then I start reading the manga, and that whole arc is only a third of the way into the series!

There's nothing to worry about. Arc 5 focuses more on action compared to other arcs, but it definitely doesn't lose its appeal to psychological horror (and it also hosts one of Subaru and Emilia's biggest moments of character development in the series). And if Arc 6 is also getting incorporated into Season 3 as a multi-Cour as some are speculating (due to certain characters appearing on the new Season 3 poster by the original illustrator of the novels), well, let's just say you'll see some of the darkest **** that tops anything seen from Season 1 or 2.

Excellent.

Then I am looking forward this return with even greater anticipation. I love these characters and I love the pain and suffering they're forced to overcome.

Thankfully, TMS is the same studio that animates Baki, Fruits Basket, Detective Conan, Dr. Stone and most of the Lupin animated series. So, it's in good hands.

As we know, Enishi soundly defeats Kenshin after he countered Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki with his own ougi and critically injured him, however, when he begins to enact Jinchu and starts talking about killing Kaoru, Kenshin completely loses his **** and starts wailing on him. He doesn't use any techniques or elegant swordplay; he's literally just beating the **** out of him with his sword. Enishi is wondering throughout this beatdown where the Kenshin is pulling this power from and isn't able to actually retaliate.

Enishi had crafted Wattojutsu to counter Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu, right? Makes sense he wouldn't have a plan for "Where's My Money" Style!
