I agree, it's not bad overall. It's not a patch on the original and definitely feels like it was written by committee but it's still a lot of fun.

They're not without good showings (Jack lasting for several days against the minks and King's devastating sneak attack on Big Mom's ship). But they've also had a few more defeats this "early" on in an arc than we're used to (Jack getting one shotted Zunisha and this encounter might end really badly for Queen).

So they're not exactly losers or anything. But I'd still like to see them show why they're so high ranked in a yonkou crew.

King of the Monsters should be doing way better than it is. It is everything I ever wanted in a giant monster movie, even more so than Pacific Rim was everything I ever wanted in a giant robot movie.

Honestly King of The Monsters is proof that adudiances and critics don't allways want the same thing, sinc the vast majority of people have gone to see the movie really liked it. While it's far from impossible to understand why critics disliked it, most their reviews carried a tone of looking down their noses at kaiju movies and people who enjoy that genre.

I rairly say **** you critics, but I think this might be a case were it's warented.

Same here. I own a PS4 and Switch, but no Xbox console aside from the 360 and I don't feel compelled to buy an Xbox One anytime soon.
