Very nice. If you got to the point where you could animate the painting it's self, now that would be amazing and a little creepy. Are you working up to doing more than line art for your animations? Adding more color and shading?

In a broad sense I'm always trying to improve but, as I'm sure I've mentioned before, animation as a medium takes ages to do anything. Making the basic animation takes hours. Adding colour takes ages, adding shading takes even more.

I mean, the painting posted here took about half the time to do than the animation that came after it. (1.2 hours versus like nearly 2.5 hours) Also the animation is animated on fours rather than twos so this is a less work intensive result so it could have easily taken twice as long for a smoother piece.

Animation is really hard work. The art style or level of detail in my animations will not match that of my paintings... well, ever to be honest. The two mediums work entirely differently.

In short, no colour and shading aren't priorities to me.

Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

You did a painting, and then an animation on said painting, sure.

But did you do a sketch of your animation on your painting?

I want you to show me how deep this rabbit hole goes.

And I want to see that sketch of the animation of the painting expressed through the medium of interpretive dance.

well good news bad news today.

bad news: some bastard dumped a large amount of trash onto our front lawn: pudding cups, old meat, half a watermelon, and maxi pads.

good news: i've started on the first side story to my "new world" novel series.

Oh, jeeze. Glad things are working out for you in college, fingers crossed that it's just a scare and not the real deal. Best of luck, Chou.

How and why does someone just dump garbage on someone else's property like that? Good luck with the writing, keep us posted on it's development.

Everyone here is being creative. Me? I'm job searching and taking an online certificate course in Data Science. Breezed through the first two classes, but it should get more challenging from now on. I have 7 more classes to complete.
