Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

So Kevin Smith is gonna be doing a He-Man cartoon for Netflix.

And it is a direct continuation of the 80s cartoon

Just watched the first episode of Cannon Busters on Netflix.

It’s like a mixture of Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Outlaw Star.

Seems fun so far. Hopefully it will hold up.

It's definitely a fun series and is interesting enough that I'm looking forward to the second season.

Kenpachi: Some say my mother was a train. Some say that I'm a rejected Godzilla monster too strong for the series canon. But everyone says: I'M THE KEEEEENPACHIIIIII!!!!

I can never understand how a character can be Badass and still be dressed like a 5 y.o. at a wedding?

To be fair, it’s probably appropriate dress, considering she appears to be fighting a balloon animal.

Badass is a thing you do, not a way you dress.

I am fascinated by the whole Magical Girl (or boy) trope. Of course, the range of outfits is fairly broad. Often what is worn seems age appropriate, but in some situations that is not the case.

I'm fairly certain the frills on her outfit are meant to complement the classical music motif that Beat and her team have .

I'le take it over the Kira Kira teams stupid animals plus sweets motif.
