They're making that very, very hard.

Amusingly, I have edited the previous post because there's more stuff that has come up that they need to discuss and get back to me on.

    Like, Keystone Cops, here.

Fortunately, I have absolved myself of all responsibility (I mean, internally) as the ridiculous chaos is totally not my fault, so my stress level is dropping.

It'll get done when it gets done. And that depends 100% on them. ^_^

    Dandadan:

This series is constantly pulling out fun and interesting ideas to make combat encounters more fun. Love this series, arguably one of the best things running right now.

    Tenkaichi: Nihon Saikyou Bugeisha Ketteisen:

Ending to the battle of geniuses is kind of predictable but really entertaining to read. This series is a lot of fun in terms of hard it goes from moment one.

Gotta question why people watch, when the result is usually pain inducing.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

The easiest and truest answer is chronic masochism. The more complex answer is that the fights themselves are more often than not entertaining to watch, but the explanations for the resulting win/loss are excruciating to listen to when it's extrapolation based on hyperbole, outliers, far-reaching ABC logic and honestly, bullshit. And the next Death Battle is going to be a massive headache that I'm not getting involved in because it's been debated since time immemorial.

I mean, they do imply that spoilers:
Deku also scales up to light speed stuff since Shigaraki caught lasers with his hands. So it's a bit evened out, but they also use a gag feat for Asta as a serious feat.
end of spoilers So a mixed bag at best.

The fight itself was also kinda disappointing in terms of voice acting and coreography. Oh well.

Then we have the season finale. spoilers:
I personally prefer Vegito. But Gogeta has the better track record.
    end of spoilers

I have kinda long since stopped taking their calculations seriously. But I do tend to find their reasoning an interesting alternative if nothing else. And most of the time the fight itself can be pretty fun to watch.

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch
    You really are a heel
You're as cuddly as a cactus
And as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch
You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel
Just face the music, you're a monster, Mr. Grinch, yes, you are
    Your heart's an empty hole
Your brain is full of spiders
You've got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch
    I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole

So, just as everyone thought: It's Jim Carrey's Grinch - who sadly isn't portayed by Jim Carrey - going around and murdering people in a "comedic" fashion. And the quality of it looks like it's made by the Asylum.

Pretty much. Instead they got the guy who did Art The Clown in the Terrifier Movies soooo if you've seen either of those you know what you're getting here.

It's interesting to see the different things/techniques that you are trying out.

Thanks. Definitely trying to experiment. Don't want to get stuck just drawing toon doodles.

regardless of the outcome and the shortcomings of their method I still usually find Deathbattles actual battle animation to be entertaining
