This encapsulates my feelings (fear) with the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender adaptation. The casting's been hit or miss, and I'm terrified it's going to be another bomb like the movie was. The OG creators leaving the project does nothing to quell that fear.

I saw tweet today that went;

"No matter how bad the discourse about Cowboy Bebop is, just remember that the Avatar discourse is going to be the same but worse,"

And I felt real fear in my heart because I knew it to be true.

Like, even I know what that's alluding to and I'm kinda mad that they apparently use the thesis statement of the original show for a joke wink-wink nudge-nudge line.
