Honestly I think she was best used in Crisis since it gave Kate something to do besides chase Alice in circles/beg Alice to return to being Beth.

I tend to watch clips with Jonathan Kent because...He definitely reminds me of my Dad. Flawed in ways but ultimately a good father to his son.

Because that would be really clunky dialogue. And most people are gonna be able to get the just when they watch the scene in the show
