Our conservative political party isn't anything, and our liberal political party can't decide just how liberal it wants to be. One is the Do-Nothing Party, the other is the we want to Do-Everything but the other party won't let us Party.

It's weird that the US thinks the Democrats are frothing socialists or something...when most other places in the world considers the Democrats (mostly) to be RIGHT of centre. And their 'Far Left' to be maybe a couple of inches left of centre.

Funny how that works.

Kind of like the Liberal Party of Canada. Billed as a touch left, likes to present that image. Really more like a few steps right.

From a US/UK point of view, the Democrats are generally probably somewhere in line with David Cameron’s Conservative-led coalition government.

Even Tony Blair’s Labour Party, which was dragged about as far right into the UK political middle-ground as any Labour Party ever was still left of the Democrats.
