I admit, I can definitely understand that.

Cause if I get something I'll honestly use once or twice to never and get the statement "it's the thought that counts" I'll honestly admit I rather be wished a good time instead and have my friend treat me to something much later when they got the better timing and resources. Half assing it and nobody is gonna enjoy that.

you know, whenever a birthday comes around in this house, we do it up big. order some food from a good restaurant. a nice cake. good friends.

i know my friends won't show up, (too busy or dont care), mom says she's making spaghettis (which is terrible) and pizza, (the cheapest one i can find) because my nephews are picky eaters, no cake that i want (gotta be considerate of others) and my sister is getting me crocs. (i wear tabis now. never asked for crocs) and i'll probably get gift cards to stores i don't shop at.

That sucks, man.

I'm not actually going to try going for a whole novel, I really am just atrocious at longform. But I'll try to get some writing done each day, or failing that, try to make at least one short a week, or something to that effect. Thing is, I know I can do 50k easy in a month if we're just talking sheer volume, if I can get a few key days of really solid writing in to hammer through the bulk of it. It's just a matter of what to write, and managing not to run out of steam after three chapters. :V

We can suffer together.
