I feel maybe we'd have done better with putting pressure on politicians if the entire world were actually feeling that existential dread all of the time. Which we probably should. 'Cause really, politicians aren't going to do squat worthwhile about this as long as big business pulls their strings, and big business is going to continue doing so until something huge happens with society overall.
