While not as much of a shocker as say Joker, Banjo, Terry or even Hero, it basically still more content to an already insanely packed game.

More strategies to develop, more funny hats for Kirby to wear, more fun for those that really like Byleth and just more sillyness all around.

It can be disappointing that it's not one of the more popular (and frankly outlandish) choices. But... I mean, you can still have Incineroar perform a lariant on Ganondorf... so why even be bothered really?

EDIT: And there's gonna be 6 more characters added with the second season pass, so yeah.

I think you can buy the Mii costumes on their own. At least you can with sans, because I did and it didn't even cost a dollar (0.75 to be exact).

Man, Red Storm has been a ride recently.

Lot of moving parts to this arc but the recent climactic steps have felt very tense.

Shades of Kingdom given that it's a big multi-sided war going on at multiple fronts in parallel that all effect each other.

Well I'm not so sure about strange abilities, but the Heartcatch Precure had a strange way of getting the mcgufins of their series. Their fairy companions would literally crap them out.
