I guess while recent Dragon Ball content has been hit and miss, can't deny this stuff in general was something I always enjoyed.

It's not everyone who can slowly invent the formula of an entire genre of manga, define the unique company visual style of several videogame series, and make icons of them all in a way that almost felt accidental the way he brought them about.

To say he was a foundational creator is an understatement. Rest in peace, there will ever be a unique, spiky-haired hole missing in the world.

i may have been critical of his work lately but his impact on manga and anime is unmatched. me and my best friend wouldnt be anime fans if it wasn't for OG dragonball and dbz.

While my writing had shifted to other influences, a lot of my early inspirations came from Dragon Ball. Rest In Peace, Toriyama.
