Good luck with it mate. Even if you got an in, it's never a sure thing, so do your best!
I'm a little surprised by that.
Spider-Man and the X-men films have an entirely different tone. Raimi's Spider-Man was all about larger-than-life high camp while the Singer X-movies were deeply grounded in their sense of apparent realism. Tonally the properties were very distinct.
For an example of the tone from what I recall the X-Men movies had very little in the way of quips, random comedy scenes or self-aware references for example, which are a huge part of Marvel's movies dialogue.
X-men focused on the serious aspects of the source material and mutants as a metaphor for all kinds of outcasts and minority groups while attempting to tone down the goofier aspects of the franchise (no yellow spandex and all that).
Sam Raimi's Spider-man movies embraced the source material, especially the comics from the 60s and 70s, in all its campyness.
The you have Ang Lee's Hulk, which was some kind of mesh of psychologial drama, art house piece and comic book action movie that tried to do comic book style panels in the movie.
Fantastic Four went for a similar tone as Spider-man, but IMO it doesn't pull it off as well and wastes a few great performances.
I mean, at the end of the day they are all action movies based around comic book super heroes from the same company. But the tone differed greatly between all of them, especially in terms of where they fell on the goofy/serious spectrum. It gave them all their own identity which made a bit more niche than the modern MCU movies (which are all tailor made to appeal to broad segments of the audience).

Shouldn't be o_o. Takes place after DOFP, Deadpool takes place in the same universe.
When was this? Pretty certain Wolverines clone killed him..Also, it's pretty much confirmed in the film that Xavier killed them all with one of his seizures.
I see..but where does that leave DP?Also, also, Fox don't own the film rights to the X-men any more so they don't get to make any more stuff beyond finishing Dark Phoenix and New Mutants anyway.
Deadpool also doesn't take place in the same continuity as the primary Fox-verse either. Note the completely different version of Colossus. in his films. Deadpool is canon adjacent at best.
Also, DofP doesn't confirm or deny anything about where Logan might fit in. I'm pretty sure the director during promo was like "Nah, this is it's own thing,"
...? Him? What? When was this? Pretty certain Wolverines clone killed him..
You asked what happened to the other X-men. In the film, after Xavier has his big seizure in the casino, as they are driving away you can hear on the radio a newscast talking about "the Westchester incident which killed 29 -" and then Logan switches off the radio. The implication is that Xavier killed the X-men due to his Alzheimers and his inability to control his powers.
Probably due for a reboot. If Marvel are smart, they'll hire Ryan Reynolds again and have him be meta-aware of the change in rights holders. Though, I can't imagine they'll want that in their big serious crossovers so Deadpool will likely remain canon adjacent.I see..but where does that leave DP?

Pretty sure that the Deadpool movies take place in whatever universe Deadpool wants them to take place in.
It happened some years before the events of Logan, off screen. They make explicit mention of it in the movie itself.
Disney owns his movies rights too. We'll see what they do with him considering that his two movies are really popular and they were pretty flexible with continuity anyway.
Street Fighter V announces Akira Kazama from Rival Schools as one of their new characters.
Well... I guess I have to start daring to hope that we might get a new Rival Schools game again.
