There is none. Homelander is a glass cannon by brick standards (whether you go by comic or TV series) while Omni-man could give Post-Crisis Supes a good fight. But this is Death Battle we're talking about, so they'll probably concoct some long-reaching explanation or find some obscure hyberbolic statement that they feel will "justify" why Homelander would even get Nolan's attention.

That they brought up Ares moving in planck time and used that as feat for Thor because both of them fought Sentry (even though Sentry beat up both of them) bugged me more.

Still, the fight looked fun and I never say no to hearing Lanipator's Vegeta.

Nope. It is a incredible missmatch. But I am kinda looking forward to it since Omni-man should absolutely trounce Homelander.

Way back in the mists of time, I remember a page in the back of a comic - probably Avengers (likely an annual or milestone issue) or some Avengers/X-Men crossover (but long before AvX) - where Captain America is either assessing the X-Men or just assessing different team leaders.

Cap’s assessment of Cyclops was something like “He doesn’t want to lead - he leads because he thinks he has to, because he’s the one who can.”

Does that ring a bell to anyone? And if so, can anybody find a scan?
