Maybe it was a mistake or a glitch. IP addresses can get mixed up with each other is strange ways.

So I just chatted with the boss and the way he sees it is, If he's claiming there's an IP ban and his account isn't banned, it's just that he just came across an IP or IP range that we have blocked (likely due to spammers). If he's got an alternative way to connect than he just did when he got blocked, he should try that. If it was a different source than he usually uses then he'll know to avoid that one.

It's an odd situation but that's the best solutions we've got.

In that case, I'm not really sure what to do except read up on how to change your IP Address or something unfortunately.
