Well the jist of it is that one of the new villains of the season was played by Ryan Heywood, one of the main guys in Achievement Hunter.

Ryan Heywood was outed as a sexual predator a few days before Zero premiered.

Rooster Teeth made the decision to not put out any unreleased material that had Ryan in it, for obvious reasons. So Zero is delayed until they can re-record that character's audio with a new actor

Aside the predator thing, I would guess the election too. Since you know party colors.
