    Looks like we're still in the edgy grimdark slave-owner isekai phase of anime adaptations. At the very least, the next phase will be the far more interesting (in my opinion) otome isekais.

    Hell, the only Isekai LN titles that I'm currently enjoying are RoTSH, Re:Zero, Konosuba, How Not To Summon a Demon Lord(Don't judge me!), Youjo Senki and Cautious Hero. Overlord ran its course for me because Ainz's appeal as a character with conflicting morals is dead now that he's gone full villain and its plot has nothing to hook me to it because the outcome is obvious. Not to mention I got sick of virtually everyone kissing his ass.
