Finally got around to watching WandaVision. In general, I'm okay with it.

I find it interesting that there appear to be some vague similarities between it and the Netflix MCU series. The actual credits (ie, the ones at the end of the show) bear a similar mood to the Netflix series' credits, and the spoilers:
Whoops, halfway through we show you the ACTUAL villain!
end of spoilers thing is very much something we saw in Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Defenders.

    I just hope that spoilers:
this 'true villain' doesn't go the way the others did, ie 'replace interesting villain with shallow, boring one.
    end of spoilers
    Why are we here?

"Superboy Prime (the yelling guy if he needs clarification)..." - Postmania
"...dropping an orca whale made of fire on your enemies is a pretty strong opening move." - Nik
"Why throw punches when you can be making everyone around you sterile mutant corpses?" - Pendaran, regarding Dr. Fate

The show is only going to be 9 episodes I believe. So there isn't really time for that MCU tv-series specific trope I think.

They could still blow it. After Cage and Defenders, I have a lot of faith in the ability of a show to turn on a dime.

Jeeeeez...All-Rounder Meguru chapters 112 and 113 have some beautifully illustrated technical grappling. Easily as good as anything Teppu ever did, if not better.

Re. the end credits. Worth noting that some episodes have post-credit scenes.

That’s not a spoiler, just worth pointing out.

I need to go back, then. After I noted them NOT having post-credits, I didn't bother.

eh, there's some pretty big differences here, for one they don't just introduce them out of nowhere halfway through the series, they're there from the start, also there's hints throughout the series that they're more than what they seem, and finally thespoilers:
first "villain" isn't really a villain
end of spoilers. So to me this isn't the bait and switch we saw in the netflix series, but a payoff that was actually built up to over the course of the series.

Absolutely. I'm using the phrase 'vague similarities' for a reason.

Might want to add spoilers, man.

    Edit: coolness. ^_^

And I'm all caught up with Meguru. Right in the middle of a climactic fight, of course.

    Curses.
