Downtown Khazan: Ice Cold Utopia

I read a bit of that a couple of years ago. I liked the art and the concept was fun but I fell off it for one reason or another.

I literally though about going back to it just the other day as it happens.

So far, enjoying it. Has a bit of a Masamume Shiro (Appleseed, specifically) vibe to it, without the gazillion layers of incomprehensible BS. And with action sequences that one can actually follow.

The current Return of the Valkyries series is a perfect storm of things probably not ending well.

Jason Aaron. The confusing canon of Marvel valkyries. Symbiotes. Sentry. Jane Foster.

I cannot foresee this mix of things not working out perfectly for all comics fans.

I follow it because it has an aesthetic that intermingled Battle Angel Alita with Neo-Noir elements that appealed to me, and seems to get stronger the further you go into the story.
