Just writing random scenes to kinda keep myself on my toes with additional building of things going on in my works.

...Mostly the ongoing hostility of a grown woman and her family's cat, teenagers doing dumb teenager stuff, and how my main dude keeps resorting to duct tape to fix his girlfriend's martial arts dojo because he long stopped trying to put effort into fixing it because of the constant breakage it keeps getting into.

Godzilla vs Kong did wayyy more than I expected from the movie based on previous films.

I liked Kong Skull Island a fair amount but was kind of cold on the previous Godzilla Legendary films thus far, but this one elevated things to a great new height.

Kong goes to fucking Kong Moria and gets a magic axe and I amd super down for the new implications of this and the whole Hollw Earth thing for the Monsterverse' Lore and setting

Sure was! Everything you could ask from a big Kaiju brawl

Except for those expecting Kong to be able to stand toe to toe with the Big G just by going through puberty. Godzilla is still bigger, still stronger, surprisingly agile next to his previous iterations, perfectly willing to abuse his aquatic nature, can take hits like a kaiju George Foreman, and just wins if he lands a proper hit with his nuclear breath. Kong made a go of it but it was clear he needed the axe to even stand a chance and even then Godzilla just got up from Kong's best shot and tore him a new one.
