Just caught up now and yeah, this fight is kinda stupid rad compared to everything else we've seen so far in the series.

And it further fuels my theory that Arthur's delusions power him up because of Adolla.

As long as they get the same budget and team for a potential third season I'm certain that they'll do justice to it in the anime, based on how great they've animated some of the series' earlier fights.

I recall Licht basically theorising that this was the case a while back (a bit before Dragon himself was introduced I think) and then Vulcun's whole Orichalcum Ore Quest bit was similarly based on motivating Arthur to imagine himself stronger. I feel like the series has been hinting at it with increasingly less subtlety and the recent "Let's play Dragon Quest and become ridiculously powerful," was confirmation of that.
