Next week sees the publication of the first comic book issue of Masters Of The Universe: Revelation ahead of the Netflix TV series, working as a prequel to the show, by Kevin Smith, Rob David, Tim Sheridan, and Mindy Lee. In the lead-up to release, one panel from the comic book on sale on Wednesday has already leaked to the interwebs.

Games like this just don't seem to be worth the money. Whenever I see a game like this I think of RPG Maker.

Nothing. It's just that, if I want to play an RPG Maker game I'd rather make it myself. I am assuming that Playstation games are on the expensive side.

The game is 15 dollars. Small games like this and indies usually don't come close to the price of Big budget AAA games.

I want an actually good RPG Maker game I can buy sometime this decade, but 99% of what's available for purchase is stuff that freely available works from one or two decades ago can blow out of the universe on their worst day.

It's unfortunately an engine that lends itself well to low-effort games that end up looking and feeling terrible.

Which is a shame, because there's a lot of things you can do in the engine.

Gotta agree. I've seen some very well done and sometimes ambitious works and I've also seen...A lot of really awkward crap.

Though I admit, some things made can be stupidly amusing.

I'd rate Emerald the most likely due to Maiden stuff

Finally got around to checking out Witch Hat Atelier after seeing a lot of high praise for it and it is really rather wonderful.

Exceptionally well-realised magical system and world built on that system, beautiful artwork and a surprisingly large and quite welcome density of disability representation in it's cast.

Would highly recommend, really rather a special manga.
