I remember, back in Soul Calibur 3, that there was something like a job system for custom characters, where said characters had a choice among several weapons (and therefore fighting styles). Is something like that in the game, or did that die?

Aaaah, that's right. Not yet unfortunately. I've got a feeling that might be dlc later down the line, but we'll see.

I'm watching the Strangers Prey At Night Uncut version and while it's a bit bloodier with a bit more gore and with a real good shot of a dead body, it's not all that different from the usual version.
Gonna be interesting to see if the headshot scene is changed though.
Annnd not much of a change aside from Dollface cutting up the main girl's hands a bit before being shot out. There's more blood spray and a longer pause before main girl kills her off but not much of a difference.
We do get a better look at Sackhead's face after his car explosion though. It was heavily burned but it was neat to see. There's also more of an impact when he gets hit by the baseball bat and a lingering shot of his burned face afterwords.
