Truth.
Plus, that assumes you're selling something for 274$ profit every day...of every week...of every month...of a year. What actual product does one have that will do this? Especially without advertising.
Side hustle, my ass. <-- I am aware of the jokes people can make here, I just don't care. ^_^
^_^
Younger people these days are getting burned badly enough as it is. This idea that they should enjoy putting in extra hours, working side jobs, and do it all with an attitude of 'wow, I really pushed myself this week, got in 75 hours of work!' just to make a decent living is a very poisonous one.
When minimum wage isn't enough to live - anywhere - in the United States, (actually worse than that) and people need something like 3 minimum wage jobs just to get by...
I wonder...from where do we think this Hustle Culture idea originates?
Possibly from the same Wall Street Propaganda stating that 'Young people these days love a flexible living arrangement, that's why they're renting more!' when young people are saying 'our salaries are so low and houses are priced so stupidly high we have no choice but to spend 90% of our paychecks on renting.'
...note that Wall Street has started
buying real estate like crazy, possibly with the idea of setting up rentals.
What's next? 'Young people today just want to live sick and die early, it's natural health culture!' to explain no universal health care?
