Cool, another Pokemon anthology series, those are usually fun.

I admit, there is ONE Marvel movie I'm really looking forward to, and it's not the next Strange one.

    It's the next Ant-man and Wasp. ^_^

    Dr. Ant, Skitterer Supreme.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Oh really? What draws you to it?

I thought Ant-Man and the Wasp was perhaps the worst MCU film, I really, really disliked it. I mean, I'm off the Marvel train completely at this point, but I feel like another Ant-Man is the least likely thing I'd consider going back for.

Though to give the first Ant-Man its due.

It did spawn on of my favourite piece of marketing:

Made me laugh. Not as much as the first one, which I really enjoyed, but enough that I'm hoping for more of that.

    Nothing wrong with that! ^_^

    My worst MCU film...hmm.

Spider-man: Far From Home was, for me, pretty awful. And I was really hoping it would be good.

Entirely fair and, whatever other opinions I have about the film, Paul Rudd is a very good Scott Lang and a charming screen presence.

Yeah, really enjoyed him in those movies.

Sometimes I just want to watch something fairly light that makes me laugh. I'm not a fan of Rom-coms (Hollywood ones, anyway, ugh) these days, and utter/complete silliness/pratfalling is less of my thing. Ant-Man (especially the first one) was a movie that got me to chuckle, and one my wife was happy to watch, so I enjoyed it a lot.

Not at all claiming the movies are cinematic masterpieces. ^_^

    So, according to this trailer:

    Confirmed combatants
    Korra
    Akuma
    Alucard
    Madara
    Aizen
    Iron Man
    Batman (again)
    Kool-Aid Man
    Macho Man Randy Savage

    Confirmed matches
Iron Man vs. Batman (with Hellbat armor)
Kool-Aid Man vs. Macho Man Randy Savage (obvious joke battle). Because both characters going "Oh Yeah!"

    Highly Likely Matches
    Alucard (Hellsing) vs. Dio Brando/DIO
    Madara vs. Aizen
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

I don't recognize a lot of what's on screen as compared to my imagination, but I'm hopeful and I like the cast I think

    Huh.

I had no idea this was coming. So Prime will have both the LotR series and Wheel of Time in their stable.

Very much trying to chase that Game of Thrones adult fantasy market, eh?

I read the first Wheel of Time book, kind of liked it, but felt no compulsion to continue with the series so I'm not sure if I'll watch this.

Might be a way to absorb the material with committing to a ton of really chonky books tho...

They're doing some things with how they intend to frame the story it seems, which could help with handling these massive doorstopper tomes being adapted lol.

I can honestly say I’d never even heard of Wheel of Time until this trailer came out.

But then I don’t pay attention to anything.

    Even myself.

    Especially myself.

    Ignore me.

    I certainly will.

But I pay attention to you not paying attention to yourself

Also on an unrelated note the next Fast and Furious spinoff

Oh it's not actually one, but it might as well be one.
