The interesting thing is an ordinary Hylian Shield can block the Death Beams, but three Goddesses throwing up Goddess shields got COMPLETELY LOLNoped.

conclusion: Hylian metalworking is better than Goddesses.

I honestly wonder if someone's made some kind of chart of who outlasted the death blasts the longest lol

    Excluding Kirby, of course

The threat's deadliness is inversely proportional to its quantity.

Though, I don't think DD is a good example. Seeing that Nobu is supposed to be an elite and not just some random mook.

Well, except for zombies. The threat of zombies is proportional to the quantity of zombies. One zombie? No threat. A swarm of hundreds of zombies? Major threat.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

: Dances to We Are Free from Gladiator sound track, due to the unloving now posting in day light.:

And I agree with Dog. The inverse thing does not work on zombies. They need numbers to be a danger.

I think it applies to anything onevwants to be bad ass. Like ninja, ninja are bad ass and such. So when mass rush of them? Lost quality.

Zombies? In the plot low number of zombies are easy pickings as said stories are not focused on zombies, except in massive hordes in which plot shifts to trying to survive them all.

These fictional tropes seem very dependent on quality of what said plot is about and etc.

Basics: If you have super elite or bad ass, most cases in fiction it withers down what makes them special.

Unless it is a very common and easy to deal with enemy. In which case the more numbers the better.

The newest RWBY episode is now available for all on Roosterteeth so here's my impression without spoiler tags.

I thought it was a really solid start to the season. The main cast is getting along but the events from last season aren't just entirely glossed over.

Ruby being calm and sensible and taking charge in a tense and highly dangerous situation makes me so proud of her.

Seeing more of Jaune and Ren's semblances was neat too.

Overall, the action scene was fun and fast paced and contained tons of team work that I missed so much from the previous season.

I just hope that half the cast will be trecking through a cold wasteland for most of the season.
