Despite what I may end up feeling about the show (I haven't seen it yet) I kinda hate when **** like this happens.

Same thing happened to Andromeda which despite being strictly inferior to the ME trilogy I gained an appreciation for what it was by the end and was sore about plot threads and character potential that will just never exist.
I've come to be able to enjoy stuff that died early, especially these days when it's harder to commit to long-term series. And I have no interest in a live-action Bebop. That said, while I know stuff getting canned after a season or even half a season is nothing new, it really seems like Netflix just chews through these things quick.

Also like that they have Knuckles (almost certainly unwittingly) working for Robotnik. That is in canon for Knuckles and Sonic's first meeting.
Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

Likely going to happen to Masters of the Netflix: Revelations and, when it comes out, One Netflix. Same thing also happened to their Dark Crystal series.

Because that's what Netflix does: it gets a property, chews it up, spits out the mutilated remains, then moves on to its next victim.

    Keiko Nobumoto has passed away.

While Shinichiro Watanabe needs no introduction at this point as a director, Keiko Nobumoto was a frequent collaborator as screenwriter for many of those projects like Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo.

She also wrote the screenplay for Tokyo Godfathers and oversaw the first Kingdom Hearts, among other projects that essentially informed a generation of anime.

Sad that we've lost one of the greats.
