Boris is a joke that was unfunny when it started. I expect him to turn up to a COVID press briefing at some point with clown make-up and a gun, asking Prof. Chris Whitty “Why so serious?!”

Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

Don't know if anyone lives near the path of destruction from the tornadoes, but I hope everyone is okay.

For those who don't know, the dark haired AI Robot are named Yay (long story how they got that name). The one seen here is part of a hive mind of identical AI Robots who apparently have an extremely high level computational ability that gives them some impressive skills.

If you take Yay's last statement as fact, how do they compare to other fictional AI's?

    Just curious.

Gridman had a virus monster that could brainwash people through the computers, something KahnDigifer could also do, and Gridman himself could reverse it.

The night of my area was in a Tornado Watch, which meant there COULD have been a Tornado in my area. It was very stressful, but luckily there was nothing in my neck of the woulds

Their best effort to not be a good person is just collapsing the economy and taking over the government? Meh, 4 out of 10. Skynet OPENED with "Nuke all the Humans into oblivion, and send time-travelling murder-bots to shoot all the survivors." They've got to seriously step up their game if they want to get any "Evil AI" cred.

They compare as well as anyone does when they're the top dog in their own universe. They're really strong there. Compared to an AI system in a lesser-high-tech universe, or one that isn't top-end, they're stronger. They would clearly be superior to any single AI in William Gibson's works, for example.

Compared to Obie (Jack L. Chalker's Well World), an AI that can not only comprehend the math underlying the universe itself but COMPUTE said math and, with their external devices, alter that math in exact ways to produce exact results (carrying out stuff like 'perfectly changing someone from one race into another', or 'altering the minds of everyone on a planet'), Yay is not so great.

    Different universes, different power levels.

    Why are we here?

"Superboy Prime (the yelling guy if he needs clarification)..." - Postmania
"...dropping an orca whale made of fire on your enemies is a pretty strong opening move." - Nik
"Why throw punches when you can be making everyone around you sterile mutant corpses?" - Pendaran, regarding Dr. Fate

Just don't tell Yay that, you might hurt their feelings.

    Thanks everyone for the assessments.

I didn't know that Taka was a V-Tuber now. That explains why he dropped out of his DnD-campaigns.
