This prologue was beautifully animated and I'm glad that Ian Flynn/Morio reminded us that Knuckles is a somber and contemplative character in spite of his impulsiveness and naivete before Boom and subsequent titles flanderized him into an idiot.Ichigo: What even *are* you?!
