Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

daryl dragon, aka "the captain" of the captain and tennile fame, has died.
goddamnit, 2019
Good grief. 2019 is coming out swinging
Some interesting commentary about a series I can never stop gushing over.

We do agree that this is SMvFL, even assuming that Classic Fisk is back, right? (I don't know, maybe give him an oak desk to make this more credible, writers?)
Like... that's pretty SMvsFL right there.
Doom hits way harder than that normally and Kingpin has no special resistance to magic to my knowledge.
Yeah, Doom's armor is usually on par with most non-nanite Iron man armors and he can typically make the Thing feel his energy blasts IIRC.
Wilson should be dead or severly injured after that. I doubt even his classic self tanked energy blasts all that much.
What comic is this from?
That right there is some out-and-out batshit insane ridiculousness.
Fisk has no business messing with Doom.
It should also be mentioned that Doom can usually fly, either through magic or with his armor. So the next scene should show that Doom just casually flies back up and the obliterates Kingpin.
Also, Crimson Bands. I didn't know Doom could fly, but I am not surprised. Also, those few pages are courtesy of Marvel Knights: 20th #5.
That's like, beyond Classic Fisk.
This is...Nu-Fisk, damn.
Dr. Doom, whose armor allows him to be a physical threat to match the Thing - among others - took the overhead double-fist to the back so hard he forgot how to fly.
Kingpin vs Logic. Curbstomp, 10/10
considering the kind of **** doom's armor has taken, a simple fall off a building shouldn't be something that would even bother doom.
Doom takes haymakers from The Thing and doesn't immediately die. Fisk might as well be punching the Juggernaut.
...What the hell did Fisk do to...Well, do anything to Doom? O_o
