It’s really not that co-dependent. Solomon’s totally fine when she’s not around and can cope entirely well without her (basically because for him everything’s always awesome). I think Ardy kinda leans on him a little bit to feel human, but she’s getting much stronger that way. And she can also cope perfectly well without him (though if he were to die, I have a feeling she might go off the deep end).
Oddly, if Solomon gets any more Elan, they’re probably going to end up MORE co-dependent. But also stronger. Because reasons.
If he wakes up, she won't have to beat his foot against the ground again....
C'mon, dude needs more training. And Tasha doesn't have a lot else to give, other than an all-out-of-proportion defence of her friends against any potential threat.
*still feels badly for Avelyn*

Can you imagine Mikael’s reaction to that? Let alone Gabriel’s (Little Miss “OK, everyone, let’s all just embrace love and make everyone else just feel spiffy, mkay?”)?

Nyeah, but Uriel (forget Eriol for now) would be more pissed at Noah for the prison thing and he's also against tying yourself to one person anyway, so... I mean, sure, he’d hate it. But he wouldn’t necessarily hate the ends that Azrael is going for here as much as he’d hate the means.
Ah, but then... free will. Yeah. He’d hate it.
No argument with regards to Uriel versus Noah in this situation, no.
For my money, what Azrael has done is arguably almost as much of a prison as Noah's (not all prisons are physical), and Azrael's setup provides no possibility of escape (sure, she might free Araxiel, but that's part of NOAH'S setup).
What does Uriel like?
- Acting freely? Not possible for Ilumina any more.
- Rebelling against oppression? If Azrael's decision isn't oppression...
- Living in absolute freedom? Not possible for Ilumina any more.
What does he not like?
- Enslaving or subduing someone? One might argue that Azrael is coming awfully close to that line.
I mean, sure, he's going to be more pissed with Noah, but I'm of the opinion that he'd be awfully disgusted and disappointed with Azrael over this (rather expected of Noah, but not so much of Azrael). Mileage, it may vary.
I find it hilarious that Azrael supposedly exemplifies 'Justice'. And 'Good'. It's rather telling to me that 'Stopping a Shajad Agent' (whatever they're doing) ranks higher for her approval than 'Preventing an Evil Act' or 'Defending Justice', and that 'Stopping a Shajad Plan' is better for her than 'Saving the Lives of a Large Number of Innocents'. Feels less like 'Justice and Good' and more like 'I have a personal issue with the Shajads'.
Bleah.

Sabo too? That's a lot of One Piece characters.
I wonder if that bit at the end is hinting at some kind of character creation.
And there's a new trailer too. Rad.
Things that made me excited:
- Arm surfing looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
- Tons of arm applications including what looked like a parry mechanic.
- What looked like a Bayonetta style dodge function which has me VERY excited.
- Sin Scissors is back. I'm not sure why I love this so much but I thought they were an incredibly cool enemy in DMC1 and I'm glad they are back.
- Dante's new weapon looks awesome.
In short; I'd already decided I was getting it. This just confirms my decision.
