I did appreciate when one person finally mentioned the fact that Congress, and Courts in general, regularly use testamonies from criminals all the time (RICO cases in particular). That kind of shut some people up who’s only purpose there was to keep mentions dthat Cohen was a convicted criminal (we all know he is).

cohen said repeatedly that he was a criminal, that he plead guilty for what he did and he's gonna pay for by going to jail.

but you are right. RICO was made for taking down large scale criminal groups and they do it by turning the lower/important members and having them testify against the bigger dogs. it's what happened to henry hill of "goodfellas" fame.

The release schedule is really exhausting since there's only one thing that really happens per chapter.

Which makes sense and is good pacing when reading it in one go, but I want to know what happens already. Can Ousen beat Riboku? Does Houken come charging in like it's Dynasty Warriors?

It's got such magnificent flow when you read it in big chunks. Kingdom really knows how to build a big ball of emotion and just smash you in the face with it.

Yes, I have reread the siege of Sai approximately eight times now and I still cry every damn time.

Looking ahead, I think this arc, the Zhao invasion arc, is going to go on for quite a bit longer. Remember, the current battle for Gyou is only so they can take the capital of Zhao /three years from now./ If Riboku doesn't die here, then he's going to try and pull some stuff and Houken might... y'know... show up?
