I had been tapped out of the MCU for a while but having a film podcast meant my crew was like; "We did Infinity War, we have to do Endgame,"

So, we watched it and now I don't have to watch any more. I have passed an edict on my podcast that there will no more Marvel films on it.

Lyanna and Jorah Mormont. Lyanna for taking down an undead giant while it was crushing her and Jorah for keeping Dany safe until his dying breath.

The greatest loss for the Starks long-term is the death of the Mormont line. That family has a disproportionately high concentration of badass. I'm really sad that we won't see any more of Lyanna Mormont. I was really hoping she would go on to rebuild her House. But she took out a zombie giant dumb enough to bring her into stabbed range, and that's about as glorious a way to go as any. Jorah stayed on his feet to protect Dany until the end, no matter how many times he got stabbed. I'm reminded of his conversation with Viserys. Viserys: Does loyalty mean nothing to you? Jorah: Loyalty means everything to me. Viserys: Yet here you stand. Jorah: Yet here I stand. Dany will never have a more devoted subject.
