I feel like they mostly function better as their own thing. Marvel does a lot of cross over stuff, but aside from the family's dynamic with Dr. Doom I find my favorite stories about the Fantastic Four to be when they get to adventure off on their own. They have a classic clean adventure vibe like Johnny Quest or Tintin. They feel a little out of place when crossed over with the rest of the Marvel universe.
    Truth. Totally agreement.

I heard somewhere that wasn't actually a rule of the belt, so much as a challenge one guy issued that he would defend the title anywhere, and then when the next guy won it from him that way, he basically didn't want to look more cowardly than the first guy so he also issued that open of a challenge. And it kept going that way until it had basically the force of a rule behind it.

At least until Kane got the belt. HE was willing to fight anyone anywhere, but they were too scared of him and his demon powers to take him on anywhere but the ring.

Kengan Asura makes a mistake I've seen before in fiction about NHL fights. I mean, it's not 100% wrong, but there's a reason why hockey fights tend to be 'dudes grab each other by the shirt with one hand and whale away with the other', not 'boxing on skates'.

    Forgivable, but still.

To be fair, Adam is also undefeated in those fights so his word might not be an indication of how they all do it.

For the same reason all the Pro Wrestlers aren't necessarily monsters like José and Sekibayashi; the only people from sports we see are those who successfully transitioned from it to real fighting, so it seems fair to think that they're exceptions rather than the rule.

Fair points. It's just funny that this is how it's presented, is all. ^_^

Also, I should be on tonight and posting on Anima. Possibly AnimaS if there has been more movement on the other game.

And there has been movement! Will start composing my post now.

Rather a less-exciting end to a dangerous situation, but this is what happens when players decide to be smart about things and, I don't know, RUN.

    I don't think that's going to happen.

I hope that they can save Zeldris. I want at least one of the commandments to have a happy ending.

Wonder if the demon king will get some new henchmen. Because I doubt that he can take the combined might of the Sins at this moment.
