i don't really care for the finn/rose thing either way.

i just don't see anything about the movie worth watching.

    Have you seen the film?

EDIT: This isn't a call out or anything, unless I'm misreading it seems like you've not seen the film yet which is surprising for someone in CBR-type circles.

Recalling the days I played Star Trek Timelines on my phone.

...Then playing a crazy limited time holiday special where Worf and Harry Kim are infected with parasites that made them believe they're folklore heroes who cause all sorts of cheerful chaos.

...Then the game made me choose who lives...And who dies.

...It was an awkward holiday special.

    Poor dumb Harry.

Eh, I just don't like Star Wars to start with and I've never cared about romantic subplots in anything, except in actual romances.

It is fun listening to people rage about it though. :P

no. and that's the problem. i........don't really care to see it or not. i'm apathetic to it, really. like i've seen dozens and dozens of reviews on it. and the more i see of it, the less interested i am to try to see it. i'm sure it's not as terri-bad as a lot of people claim it is. there's just nothing that really catches my attention or interest. maybe one day, if i'm not doing anything and there's nothing else to watch, i may watch it. but that's a long ways away.

Ah, you answered before my edit.

I was more expressing surprise that someone in our circles hasn't seen it yet.

I'd say it's worth watching - quite apart from the quality of the film, given how polarising it is, it's definitely worth watching just so you can have an informed opinion in what you think of it.

As I say, I enjoyed it a lot. It's my favourite film in the franchise and made me actually kind of care about Star Wars after a lifetime of relative apathy.

Not me...too much time on Quora and you'll loath that vocal minority of the fanbase.

I don't get what the fuss is about with TLA. I admit that I'm not as into Star Wars as some are, but I thought it was a perfectly fine film. I liked Rey, and I thought the Finn/Rose subolot was very well-done. Overall, I thought it was a good movie, certainly not the worst of the bunch like some are saying.

I mean it's arguably my favorite full film.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Same...The vocal fans used those as ammo to further their agendas. -3-

I thought Rogue One was better, though.
