I had another D&D session last and it was fun. I’m think about getting into Mutants and Masterminds at some point.

Make sure to use 2e. 3rd edition is wonky.

I won my Savate assaut today, however there is still a lot of work to be done.

This sounds awesome, but requires explanation.

It's an interesting thing with the UK vs the US. Most people I know who drink at all these days started in their teen years.

I think we have more of a culture of drunk teenagers.

Started as a teen (15? I think).

Quit when I was about 21, due to drinking waaaaay too much.

Started cautiously again when I was in my mid-thirties, just for a bit of good stuff now and then (not 'getting intoxicated').

Still keeping to that now.

Unironically, I'm quite fond of Kraken Spiced Rum.

Kraken is pretty good. I prefer Shipwreck, Admiral Rodney, or El Dorado 12 year, but I'll certainly take Kraken.

My own preference runs toward Armagnacs, good Tequila (regular, cheap Tequila is rotgut), non-peaty Single Malts, and specific whiskies -- and specific Bourbons, now that I think of it -- (as well as Rum).

...I will also throw my hat in the ring to support good plum wine; cheap stuff is bleah, but the good stuff is stunning. Sadly, it's nigh-impossible to get the good stuff in Canada (similarly Tequila, dear god it's hard to get good Tequila in Canada).

Latest Dr. Strange: Dormammu has succeed in corrupting Galactus, and might just be controlling him. As weird as this is, it's an adventure through multiple dimensions dealing with universe-level threats, rather than 'Oh noes, something is wrong with Doc (again)!'

So recently Galactus has been trapped and used by Dr. Doom and now corrupted by Dormammu.

I kinda wish that just once Galactus would insta-stomp whatever bad guy of the week tries to use him for their evil scheme. It could be a funny one shot issue.
