That's unbelievable crap, and yet perfectly believable because it's Ubisoft.

Stupid. Also, why make a game where you can use a staff and not put in any special staves, if every other weapon gets something?

No idea. Apparently Assassin's Creed Origins also had the staff weapon type and suffered from similar lack of attention.

It's nowhere near crippling. Legendary items are unique and often possess special traits, but their overall stats tend to lag behind epic items. Common items have one effect. Special items have two. Legendary items have three, but might have unique traits or, in the case of armor, be part of a legendary set that gives you a unique boost when you wear all the pieces at once. Epic items have four effects. So if I land an epic item with all four effects blending together into a wonderful little bundle, it's gonna be better for most purposes. My staff has such a perfect blend of effects that it's very likely better than what the legendary staff could have given me if it were actually a staff.

One thing is that you can customize your gear to look like whatever other gear you've picked up before. So if you find a piece of armor with great effects but you dislike the silly six-pack its abdomen is molded to, you can change it to something that better suits your sensibilities. So the staff I'm currently using is a heavy staff in my inventory, but in the game itself I beat up my enemies with a shepard's cane. Would've been nice to get the fancy Staff of Hermes look tho.


Ah well, I can't stay angry at the game. It's got so many cool little touches and funny quests. You can swap between several crew themes, from your normal crew to bandits to professional Athenian or Spartan soldiers and many more. I choose oiled up female Olympic athletes because I am in some ways a shallow, shallow man. But when you swap to a female crew theme, they actually start singing Greek sea shanties with female voices. It's such a little thing that would have taken so much more effort, but it completes the immersion effect.

Is their any point to Kamen Rider Decade's form changes anymore? If you go by the official stats, they all seem to be a big downgrade from his current Decade form. The only ones that would seem to have any use to him is stuff like Kabuto's form.
