As a note, the most recent Kingdom chapter literally made me gasp out loud not once but twice.

I was four cans deep at that point but it got me all the same. This arc continues to be ridiculous in terms of the constant raising of the stakes.

Good chapter, though. I'm pretty picky about Kingdom, being off and on with it, but this one I liked.

No question of that. Writer clearly isn't going to kill her.

The question is whether or not she'll survive crippled, or blinded, or something like that. Or who will die heroically to keep her alive.

Karyo Ten getting shot made for some good tension and possible evolution in how the Hi Shin unit does things. But she'll live.
