I kind of felt it would go into montage for the back half but they still sold it pretty well.

I had hoped that they'd show a bit more of him beating up Overhaul. But other than that they pretty much nailed the scene.

I cried for Mirio. Again.

One of the players in my group tend to interrupt things to point out how certain functional details should work in the fictional society the story is currently in.

He's a dear friend and his comment often actually makes sense. But he does it all the freaking time and it will at times slow things down way too much.

Have a word with your DM. Get them to set a time limit of, say, 20 seconds per player per action. It’s easy to justify because they’ve had plenty of time to plan their next action while everyone else was going, with the only exception being the first person in the initiative order in Round 1 of combat.

Of course, 20 seconds per action means a high level drunken master monk with a 2-level dip into fighter to get action surge can still take about 5 minutes to complete their turn!
