Geesh.... it’s all just so poorly handled and planned. I like to think SMWW is more preserved (by the fans) instead because the abundance support regardless of what’s going on

And we will keep supporting SMWW. Many fans still draw and write and buy merch. It's really the comics right now the fans are not buying due to the fact they are treating even the friendship with scant courtesy.

The treatment of the SM/WW's friendship is one of the main problem I have with Rebirth as, considering the premises of the initiative of celebrating the classic dynamics/bonds and what came before in DC's history, you would expect their friendship being front and center in Rebirth instead of what we are getting.

I wonder even when will they try to sweep under the rug the friendship of SMWW, friendship so important to the structure of the DC universe that leaves a gap, a troublesome vacuum that is reflected in the stories.

I think that, right now, SM/WW really need a DC writer or editor that value this friendship and pushes to get it back.

Soule, Buccellato, Perez, and Tony Bedard (JPG comic) for writers. Why not get Perez and Soule back? Perez deserves to write WW again as his run is the golden standard. Soule didn’t finish his story. He deserves another chance.

I was thinking more about some influential writer or editor that could advocating for the return of the SM/WW friendship in the same way someone pushed to get back Barry Allen or Wally West and Kon-El recently.
