Agreed! So much this. It's one of the things I love about Diana and Kal during this era. Their talks. Though they didn't always agree on things, they had a knack for engaging in contemplative talks that challenged them in so many ways. Their friendship and bond was so beautiful and rare. Maybe that's why I like that era so much despite the dissatisfaction it brought, especially in the end as an ardent SMWW lover.

I keep hoping to see that bond recaptured.

The way DC works lately, especially after moving to California, their bond will probably be recaptured in the comics only if the movies capture it first.
