Honestly, I don't see the point to any of it if the O5 are permanently mindwiped.

I still think that the memories should be locked away more than anything.

    Double post, sorry not sorry.

Red is amazing. Jean has a pretty substantial power feat that reminded me of those early X-Factor days and a lot happens in this issue, both plot wise and action wise. Carnero's Jean is beautiful and probably the definitive Jean for me so far in the current era of X-Men. Taylor also definitely has a thing for team shots and I am NOT complaining about that.

Just read X-men Red #7. Jean once again shines in the best possible way while also affirming why X-men Red is the best X-book out there.

Honestly, even without personal biases I would say that Red is the best team book coming out of the big two at all.

I hope Storm and Gentle get a chance to play a role. as much as I love Jean, I wouldn't want others to just be cheerleaders in the background. can't wait till I get my hands on this.

I LOVED Jean in 7. Gambit and Laura were nice (those three are my favorite three), but you can tell this is a Jean-centric issue.
Personally, Trinary and Gentle are beginning to grow on me, but I don't particularly care about them, and I'm honestly not a huge fan of Storm. She's fine, but I'm getting Red for Jean, X-23, Honey Badger, Gambit, and Namor. The other three? Meh.

Sounds like a good issue. I’m also glad to see Jean on covers again.

How long has McNiven been channeling Barry Windsor-Smith? Or, is this just a one-off?

Very recently, i guest that is fitting considering where this come from. He is planning to do this kind of artwork for Logan's return. This only a cover thought and he is only making 3 of the 5 issues of this mini (seriousy Marvel needs better planing with his artist).

Yes, I remember when Jean caught the Empire State building during Fall of the Mutants! It was a nice callback.

My phone background right now is the shot from issue 5 where they’re storming the beach in Poland.
