Just read Extermination #2. Adult Jean and O5 Jean are both involved, but it's O5 Jean who really steals the show here. If you need a double-dose of Jean this week, I highly recommend it.

You know this would all be so much more meaningful if the writers were allowed to follow through and make Onslaught strictly a X-men threat.

This is yet another example of editor meddling that screwed Jean out of an opportunity to shine, certainly wasn't the first nor the last. I'm truly starting to believe that the editors themselves have been more detrimental to Jean's progress than any of the actual stories. First with Shooter whether you agree or not on the outcome, during the Onslaught Saga, again during Psi-War, when Kelly was planning to have Jean really explore her abilities, and finally both during and after Morrison's run.

I was so mad when they did not include the X-men in any Onslaught comics. I know that the Fantastic Four and the Avengers "died" in Onslaugt, but come one!!! this villain was born from Xavier and Magneto!!!!
